Let’s Eat

YoYo x2

Whatever Dinner- Taken from Six Sisters’ STUFF cookbook

“It was Thanksgiving Eve.  Mom had been in the kitchen all day prepping and cooking food for our upcoming feast.  Dinnertime was getting closer and, after cooking all day, the last thing my mom wanted to do was cook some more.  So our parents loaded us all in the van, and we took off for the grocery store.  We were each given $5 dollars and told that we could buy whatever we wanted for dinner-anything!  I remember holding my five-dollar bill so tightly as I walked up and down the aisles looking at all the yummy food.  I finally decided on a frozen pizza…We all gathered in the kitchen and started to prepare our items to contribute to the meal.  once everything was ready, Mom pulled out her nicest tablecloth, china, and candlesticks, and we at our Crazy Dinner by candlelight.  It was, and still is one of the most memorable dinners of my life.”
